Date:

Wednesday, June 7  · 8:30 – 10:30am EDT

Location:

Acrisure Stadium
100 Art Rooney Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15212

It will always be Heinz Field to us, but we’re happy to host the chapter at Acrisure Stadium Press Conference Room on June 7.

Space is limited so please register today!

Agenda to include:

  • Chapter Update – what’s new, what’s coming
  • Tim Morrow, CMU/SEI CERT Situational Awareness Technical Manager – Cloud Security Best Practices: This session will discuss cloud threats and vulnerabilities faced by users, identify a set of best practices when using cloud services, and present an approach to assess the risk of transitioning to cloud services.
  • Jon Zeolla, CTO and Co-Founder Seiso, LLC – Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – JIT Cloud Permissions: Balancing least privilege, usability, and maintenance overhead in the cloud is painful. In this talk we will show how you can use common Azure and AWS capabilities to provide your teams access to what they need right when they need it, but not before, reducing the impact of credential compromises without impacting productivity.

Light refreshments will be available beginning at 8:00am.

Events are presented free of charge to InfraGard members. One non-member guest is welcome, but make sure to register that individual as space is limited.

IPMA is a non-profit organization supported by its members. Individual donations to support events may be made via Paypal. If your organization is interested in sponsoring IPMA or future events, please speak to a board member at our upcoming meeting to understand the sponsorship benefits.

Logistics: Parking in the Carnegie Science Center lot is recommended. Entrance is across the street from the Science Center, labeled “Press Lobby”
